I hold a Bachelor of Arts/Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing and Editing) - try and say that three times fast! I also hold a Graduate Diploma of Eduction (Secondary).
I'm the English/Literacy teacher at a Melbourne school.
In regards to fandom, I have been writing fan fiction offline since 1994, and online since 1998. I have written for Star Wars, Beyblade, Full Metal Alchemist, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Fruits Basket, CSI, Supernatural, Doctor Who and Torchwood.
I used to own/run the Australian Beyblade website White Tiger Claw, and have created fan artwork for Star Wars and Beyblade (not very good at that). I am also a fan vidder, and my vids for CSI, Doctor Who and Torchwood can be found on YouTube.
Using what I learnt at University, I have also began analysing various relationships within Torchwood. And before anyone asks, I am a multishipper (I follow more than one pairing) in basically all the fandoms I have been in.
In the real world I have 41 newspaper articles to my name, used to be an editor for a government website, used to be a member of the Youth Council for my home town, and have a short story published in an anthology. I am currently in the process of writing a book on fandom.
